How do you define a Nomad?

Is it the number of cities lived in? Is it the passport stamps… the road maps… the packed car… the packed life?

Some define Nomads by movement.

I define them by essence.

Some picture rugged highways, van life, desert sunsets, coastal mornings, mountain passes, and the romance of perpetual travel.

Others picture someone who “can’t settle down,” someone untethered, unpredictable, possibly lost. Both are wrong — and both, only partially true.

Because a Nomad isn’t defined by whether they have a permanent address…

A Nomad is defined by how their soul lives.

A Nomad is someone whose soul refuses to shrink to fit a life that no longer aligns.

Someone who hears a deeper rhythm — an inner call toward expansion, experience, truth, alignment, spirit, and destiny.

Someone who knows when a life chapter is complete and has the courage not to pretend otherwise.

A Nomad is someone who understands something most of the world never will:

Movement can be sacred.

Change can be medicine.

Leaving can be healing.

Becoming can be holy.

Nomads don’t chase.

They respond.

And above all else — Nomads don’t wander aimlessly.

They walk with God.

Because Nomads are not rootless.

In the knowing that their life isn’t meant to be confined inside someone else’s expectation of “normal.”
